# On a Mission from God

## We are on a journey to complete God's mission among our Native brothers and sisters and today you can make a big impact!

Jesus came to earth to save us. He lived. He died. And He rose again. His mission on earth was accomplished, and we are saved, but God's mission on earth is not finished!

In the coming month, people across the nation will travel to spend time with family and friends and participate in time-honored traditions. And while many of our Native brothers and sisters will hang stockings and decorate Christmas trees, only 5% of the population knows the true reason for the season: the birth of our Savior.

### This is why the work of Lutheran Indian Ministries is so important.

Native people need to know that every day is a day of celebration because they are uniquely made by a loving Creator who sent His Son to die for them and that this same Creator has prepared a place for them in Heaven.

**We must be bold and relentless in delivering this message.**

With your help, we **proclaim** the Gospel of Jesus Christ, **disciple** our Native brothers and sisters, and provide resources for the **healing** of the trauma that afflicts so many communities.

It is no small task, but **when you join us to follow God's mission, we know all things are possible.**

## Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to step out in faith and compassion with a gift that will help reach our Native brothers and sisters with the hope of Christ and bring God's mission one step closer to completion.
